What a way to start off with the new franchise. Their first ever match in the PSL, and they’ve dispatched the defending champions Peshawar Zalmi. It was the experience in their ranks which came to the fore during this run-chase, which could have been tricky otherwise. Kumar Sangakkara anchored the innings beautifully with a half-century. He and Malik shared a pretty important partnership to set them on course. Kieron Pollard then eased the pressure with a quick little cameo at the end and made it fairly comfortable for Multan.
